Depending on Experience (DOE) This position is responsible for overseeing all bingo staff members while ensuring that a memorable experience is provided for all bingo guests, while protecting the assets and following the policies and procedures of the enterprise while performing the following duties, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
Ensures that all employees carry out their duties and responsibilities in accordance with bingo department policies and procedures.
Supervises, trains, and cross trains department employees.
Functions as a liaison between front line staff bingo staff and senior management.
Ensures that employees are familiar with the bingo program, monthly calendar, current and forthcoming promotions, Ensures there is an ample supply of programs on hand.
Oversees all aspects of the bingo hall and ensures integrity of the game at all times.
Analyzes bingo schedules and programs and recommends program changes and improvements to improve financial performance, the bingo schedule, promotional activity and customer service within the bingo operation.
Ensures that the department is adequately staffed.
Counts, verifies, and safeguards all monies for the bingo cash bank.
Develops accurate monthly financial reports while ensuring that charges and credits occur properly.
Oversees Floor, Cash and Collation areas of the department to maximize the sales of the bingo paper in accordance with the bingo department policies and procedures and NIGC Minimum Internal Control Standards.
Initiates and follows through on disciplinary actions ensuring that employees' rights are protected and that employees fully understand this process.
Provides the full scope of supervisory responsibilities to subordinates.
Ensures Supervisors carry out their duties and responsibilities in accordance with bingo department policies and procedures.
Responsible for electronic bingo machines.
Recommends programs and improvements to all Electronic Class II gaming equipment in order to maximize revenues.
Ensures that all department paperwork is properly documented and complies with the policies and procedures of the enterprise.
Assists in settling customer disputes on the bingo floor as needed, referring difficult and complex problems to Director of Casino Games.
Maintains an effective, efficient, safe and clean work environment.
Assists internal and external auditors as requested, providing full and accurate disclosure of all requested information.
Protects integrity of bingo and operation of all bingo games, in all ways possible.
Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises multiple employees with differing responsibilities.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Skills/ Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge or experience working in a bingo environment preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to perform the GILA WAY which is as follows; Greet our guest, Interact positively with our guest, Listen actively to our guest, Appreciate our guest.
Must possess excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
Important Notes As a condition of employment, all new hires must pass the following:
Pre-employment Alcohol/Drug Test.
This drug test includes the normal seven-panel test, but excludes marijuana for non-safety sensitive positions.

Applicants who have felonies, warrants, outstanding tickets, shoplifting or theft convictions will be ineligible for employment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
